For those interested, the Overwatch 2 PvP beta will include a look at the new 5v5 multiplayer. Along with being able to test out the new Overwatch 2 hero, Sojourn. Meanwhile, players can get their hands on the four new maps coming to the game, including
- Circuit Royale – Escort Map
- Mid Town – Hybrid Map

- Colosseo – Push Map
Moreso, players will get to try the new Push mode, which was revealed in 2019, which has both teams trying to push an objective down a linear path. The team that goes the furthest wins. In addition, there are Hero reworks coming for Orisa, Doomfist, Bastion and Sombra, along with a reworked ping system for better player communication in-game.
If you want to sign up and become a possible beta member, you can sign up on the Overwatch website. We have linked to the website for convenience. Note, this is only for the first PvP beta, as there will be another PvP beta later in the year, which features new heroes and other PvP surprises. Laos, the Closed Alpha will launch this week. However, it is under NDA, and Overwatch pros and Blizzard are only eligible to play in the Alpha at the moment.
Blizzard Entertainment says Overwatch 2 launches differently than initially planned. They are splitting the PvP and PvE components of the game into two, so players can rejoice in the news. The intended PvE modes will come later, likely in an Overwatch 2 PvE beta.
