I’ve been waffling on whether or not to buy my boys (ages 7 and 8) a kid’s kindle but I think this year may be the year. My eldest is very into reading, and I genuinely believe he would enjoy being able to read in bed on the kindle since it has a backlight.
Beyond that, I’ve been focusing on what gifts Justin and I could give the kids that would be something they use for a long time. Of course, they each have individual interests and likes, but things like games, outdoor toys, or blankets for forts are the kinds of gifts they would get a lot of use out of!
Justin bought the boys Loog Guitars a few years ago and they still play them. It’s a great first guitar for a child who expresses an interest in playing. Justin plays guitar and has repeatedly said that these guitars are perfectly designed for kids.
