Back with a quick outfit post for y’all today. I posted this look on LTK a few weeks ago and got some questions about how to style these jeans – or the whole baggy/wide-leg trend. It took me a minute to get on board because let me tell you, I went through for a few pairs that were not a good look for me. Once I found this pair though, it was a game-changer.
- Pair with some sort of platform or heel. I love the look of these more masculine jeans with a kitten mule (especially this pink pair that feel extra feminine). I also like the look with chunky sneakers.
- Show off your waistline with a tucked in top or something cropped. This is my go-to tip if I’m wearing anything oversized – cinching your waist always helps, IMO. I’m wearing this $8 tank that I wear weekly.
- Keep the jeans clean. For me, this isn’t the time to go with a pair too over-distressed or anything like that. The baggy/wide-leg look is a trend on its own and a statement, so I like this style kept simple.
- Form fitting on the backside. This pair slightly hugs my backside which I found to be the key. I tried on a couple pairs that were completely baggy and they didn’t do it for me.
