Let’s look into Warzone Mobile system requirements.
Warzone Mobile System Requirements

As with most games in the modern era, Activision has been targeting a broad range of phone models with Warzone Mobile. Despite this, the leaked requirements from a data miner seem to indicate the need for at least a mid-range phone.
Of course, the requirements will differ depending on whether you’re using iOS or Android.
iOS Minimum Requirements
- SoC: Apple A10 (iPhone 7 or newer)
- RAM: 2 GB (iPhone 6s or newer)
- OS: iOS 11
- Storage: 4 GB
iOS Recommended Requirements
- SoC: Apple A11 Bionic (iPhone 8 or newer)
- RAM: 2 GB
- OS: iOS 12
- Storage: 6 GB
Android Minimum Requirements
- SoC: Snapdragon 730G/ Hisilicon Kirin 1000/ Mediatek Helio G98/ Exynos 2100
- RAM: 4 GB
- OS: Android 10
- Storage: 4 GB
Android Recommended Requirements
- SoC: Snapdragon 865/ Hisilicon 1100/ MediaTek Dimensity 700u/ Exynos 2200
- RAM: 6 GB
- OS: Android 10
- Storage: 4 GB
Warzone Mobile Performance Expectations
As you can see from the system requirements above, you won’t need a complete powerhouse to enjoy Warzone Mobile when it drops. Even a phone from 2016 is capable of running the game, though that is an iOS device in particular.
Android devices require slightly more power to run in the first place, so it’s not too shocking that the requirements are slightly more stringent on Android than on iOS. Even so, unless you haven’t upgraded in the past half a decade, you should probably get along just fine.
If you’re worried about it, you’ll have to upgrade to a more powerful device. Make sure you’re investing in a mid-range phone or better to get the best gaming experience, and Black Friday 2022 is the best time to start looking.
Will Warzone Mobile Support Controllers?
Call of Duty Mobile offered limited controller support, but it seems like the feature will also be coming to Warzone Mobile. In an interview, Chris Plumber, VP of mobile at Activision, stated that the game will support controllers down the line.
Right now, we don’t know precisely what controllers will be supported. It can be a bit finicky getting generic controllers working with COD Mobile, so it would be nice to think that Warzone Mobile will open up access to proper controller support.
Either way, it’s likely to mean a crossplay-style pool system that will keep the controller and non-controller users separate. For now, it seems like touchscreen controls are going to be the way for most players.
